Hunting Camps and Accommodations

Our hunting camps are accessible only by helicopter or float plane and are ideally located in prime Moose and Caribou habitat in south western Newfoundland. Moose, Caribou and Bear can be hunted on foot from camp, and we enjoy exclusive hunting rights for non-residents within a large radius of our camps. After a 20-40 minute flight over stunning Newfoundland topography, here you can spend a week and not see another soul other than those in camp with you, and here a gunshot other than your own.

To disperse our hunting activities throughout the season we operate 7 hunting lodges and several ‘spike’ camps and tent camp sites. Our hunting cabins are sturdy, wooden structures that exude the warmth and mood of time-honoured hunting camps. All meals are prepared by our experienced camp cooks and served along with desserts, snacks, and beverages.

The cabins are equipped with cozy wood heat, hot running water, reliable generated electricity, and separate bedrooms for our guests. We welcome rifle hunters and bow hunters alike and host between 1-4 hunters at each camp. Non-hunting guests can also be assured of a very warm welcome by our staff.

Our ‘spike’ camps are simple wooded camps in even more remote parts of our hunting areas. Wood heat, a propane cook stove, and a gas lantern for light. Meals are prepared by the guide and consist of good camp food. In our opinion this represents the purest and most authentic form of Canadian Moose hunting. Be sure to ask us if a night or two out in a ‘spike’ camp is an option during your hunt.

We extend to you a sincere and genuine welcome to our hunting establishment. And although our camps are rudimentary, your comfort is not forgotten.
